A police officer and another person were hurt in a three-vehicle crash involving a police car in Washington Twp., N.J.

WASHINGTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A police officer and one other person are hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash involving a police car in Washington Township, New Jersey.

It happened at 7:30 a.m. Thursday on Hurffville Crosskeys Road at Regulus Drive.

Police say the three vehicles collided in front of Kennedy University Hospital.

The officer and other victim were taken to the hospital with injuries described as nonlife-threatening.

There was no immediate word what led to the collision.
