Police: Philadelphia Sheriff's Department officer fires weapon during domestic dispute

WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after a Sheriff's Department officer fired a weapon during a domestic dispute in West Oak Lane.

Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. Sunday to the 1500 block of Orland Street.

Police say a female officer fired her weapon during a domestic dispute involving the officer's ex-boyfriend.

Police are searching the area for the male.
