Police: Suspects sought in Family Clothing store robbery in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -- Police say a female and male were captured on surveillance video robbing a Family Clothing and More store in South Philadelphia.

It happened around 12:20 p.m. on September 4 at 646 Pierce Street.

According to police, while inside the store, the suspects are seen placing several items of clothing inside a back-pack.

And just before leaving the store, the female allegedly took several boxes of headphones while the male suspect engages the employee, police say.

The employee then confronts the two outside the store. And that's when, police say, the female sprays pepper spray into the worker's face, while punching that person.

Both suspects then fled in an unknown direction.
