LITTLE ROCK, AR (WPVI) -- A man was arrested after police say he was seen in a Facebook video allowing and encouraging his three-year-old nephew to smoke marijuana.

Police identified the man as 17-year-old Lamel Lamont Yancy.

The police report states that the child was unrestrained in the back seat of the car.

Police say Yancy proceeded to ask the child if he wanted to smoke the suspected marijuana or 'hit the gas/blunt'.

The report states that Yancy handed the child the suspected marijuana and the child put it in his mouth, but it was not lit.

Yancy then takes it back, lights it and begins to smoke it inside of the vehicle.

Authorities say he was recorded several times allowing the child to smoke the suspected marijuana, and the child refers to it as weed.

The report says that Yancy states that the child is high on the video.

According to police, the child's mother gets in the back seat of the vehicle with the child while Yancy continues to smoke the suspected Marijuana.

North Little Rock police say he hands it to the child with the mother inside of the vehicle.

The mother objected, and police say that Yancy told the child that he would smoke with him later.

Police state that they learned DHS had been to the residence and the child was taken to the hospital for a hair follicle analysis.

KARK reports that Yancy was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
