Caught on camera: Woman sought in day care theft in Wissinoming

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- The operator of a day care center in Philadelphia's Wissinoming section is seeking the public's help in finding a woman who allegedly stole a purse containing $2,000.

Surveillance footage shows the woman take the purse from behind a desk at the Kids Land Day Care on Torresdale Avenue.

It happened about 7:30 Monday morning, just after the alleged thief dropped off her own child at the center.

The purse belonged to one of the center's operators.
