Pregnant woman injured in triple shooting in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. -- A shooting left three women, one of whom is pregnant, injured in Wilmington, Delaware.

It occurred around 12:30 a.m. Thursday on the unit block of West 27th Street.

According to police, the women were on the porch of a home when shots were fired.

A 23-year-old female, who is five months pregnant, was shot in the arm.

A 21-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to her left, upper leg area, and a 24-year-old woman was shot in her right foot.

They managed to run inside the home for safety after the shooting.

The victims were treated on the scene, and then taken to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

The suspects fled the scene, and police are working on a description.
