Residents escape burning home in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A fast-moving fire damaged a house in North Philadelphia.

The fire started around 2 a.m. Friday on the 2700 block of West Sterner Street.

Firefighters arrived to heavy fire showing on the first floor.

Crews quickly worked to get the blaze under control.

Everyone made it out safely with no injuries.

So far, no word on what caused the fire.
