A vehicle hit a pole near Westtown Way.

An accident shut down both lanes of West Chester Pike (Route 3) in East Goshen, Pennsylvania Monday morning.

The crash occurred around 9:00 a.m. when a vehicle struck a pole near Westtown Way.

Wires came down on the vehicle and trapped the victim inside, police say.

The person was taken to the hospital for treatment.

It's not clear on their condition or identity.

PECO arrived to the scene to repair the downed wires.

The road was finally reopened to traffic around 1:00 p.m.
