SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (WPVI) -- Here is what we know about the mass shooting at the regional center in San Bernardino on Wednesday.

  • Up to 14 people dead, up to 14 people injured - San Bernardino police confirm
  • Up to 3 armed suspects - San Bernardino police confirm
  • Suspects -- described as carrying rifles, possibly wearing body armor -- believed to have fled the scene
  • No one in custody, no known motive. Law enforcement looking for male suspects in black SUV, possibly GMC Yukon
  • Courts, schools and other facilities in San Bernardino are on lockdown for security
  • San Bernardino Unified School District says more than 70 schools on lockdown as a precaution
  • California State University, San Bernardino was expected to close its San Bernardino campus at 6 p.m. The campus will reopen Thursday, school officials said. A hotline was provided for staff and students: (909) 537-5999
  • Inland Regional Center is comprised of three buildings. The shooting occurred in the building with the main auditorium during some sort of scheduled function, regional center employee tells Eyewitness News
  • Approximately 550 people typically work at the Inland Regional Center on an average day, regional center employee tells Eyewitness News
  • Patients transported to multiple area hospitals, including Loma Linda University Medical Center, Arrowhead Medical Center, Patton State Hospital
  • Regional center in Alhambra closing as a precaution
  • ATF, FBI agents assisting local agencies
  • President Barack Obama briefed on the situation
