NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A SEPTA bus driver was hospitalized after he was punched in the face overnight.

Police say two men attacked the driver around 12:30 Friday morning at Broad Street and Lehigh Avenue in the Glenwood section of North Philadelphia.

The driver was taken to Temple University Hospital.

At this point it's unclear how badly he was hurt.

This is the second time this week a SEPTA bus driver was attacked.

On Wednesday authorities arrested a suspect for punching a SEPTA driver at 33rd and Dauphin streets in Strawberry Mansion.

There is no word on what led up to either altercation.

Both incidents are under investigation.
