SEPTA transit cop accused of lewd act on subway

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- SEPTA says a man seen performing a lewd act on a subway was an off-duty SEPTA transit cop.

Kevin Fant, 44, was arrested after the video surfaced in late October.

That video was posted online in August and was discovered by the agency's social media team, SEPTA said.

A transit police captain identified Fant as the suspect.

Fant has been a member of the SEPTA Transit Police for 12 years.

SEPTA says he has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the disciplinary process.
