Shots fired in Coatesville

COATESVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Gunfire broke out overnight in a residential area of Coatesville, Chester County.

It happened around 1:00 a.m. Sunday in the unit block of Pennsylvania Avenue near Harmony Street.

Several people reported hearing shots in the area.

Officers arrived on the scene and found shell casings littering the street.

No word if anyone was shot.

Police are investigating.
