FRANKLINVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A Franklin Township, New Jersey, man is facing additional charges in connection with having inappropriate contact with children.

Forty-six-year-old John J. Carlo, after posting $200,000 bail in August on related charges, turned himself in to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office on Monday.

Carlo was arrested in August on sex offense charges originating at the Franklin Skating Center. Carlo owns the business located on Delsea Drive in Franklinville.

New charges against Carlo include first- and second-degree manufacturing child pornography, one count each. The incidents allegedly occurred at the skating rink in November 2014.

According to the second-degree complaint, Carlo videotaped himself engaging in simulated sexual intercourse with a 10-year-old child. The first-degree complaint accuses him of the same act when he was "charged with the custody or care" of the child.

A complaint from August alleges an invasion of privacy occurred when Carlo made a video recording when a child's "intimate parts were exposed without (the child's) consent and under the circumstances in which a reasonable person would not expect to be observed."

No additional bail was set on the two new charges.

Police said the investigation, which included seizure of electronic devices from Carlo's home and skating center, is ongoing.

Anyone with information about Carlo videotaping juveniles, particularly at his Franklinville skating center, is asked to call the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office at 856-384-5500.
