The shooting happened around 11:45 p.m Sunday along the 4900 block of B Street.
According to investigators, the 17-year-old girl was watching TV in her living room when a bullet came through a window near the front door.
Police say she was hit in the chest. She was treated and released from the hospital.

An off-duty officer was nearby and saw the suspects run into a home just down the block.
SWAT teams were called to that home, but they cleared the scene around 2 a.m. when it became clear the suspects were not inside.
There was no word on the identities of the suspects.
Meanwhile, mom Cindy Varela told Action News one of the bullets narrowly missed her 4-year-old daughter after it came through a window of their home and hit a wall.

The girl was not hurt.
That woman's husband was nearby and had to duck for cover, she said.
In the same neighborhood, Enrique Gonzalez's SUV was also struck by a bullet. He showed us a bullet hole in the vehicle's rear door.
