Suspect in custody after man shot, killed outside Mantua community center

MANTUA (WPVI) -- A suspect is in custody after a man was shot and killed outside a community center in Philadelphia's Mantua section.

Detectives say Muhammad Johnson of Pratt Street gunned down 29-year-old Pierre Burbage one week ago Wednesday along the 600 block of North 39th Street.

Police say the victim's son was nearby when his father was killed, but he was not harmed.
