Police are searching for the person responsible for allegedly robbing the customers at a bar in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the person responsible for allegedly robbing the customers at a bar in Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 1:47 a.m. Wednesday at Franks Place Bar located on the 4200 block of North 15th Street.

According to police, the suspect was armed and demanded money from the customers.

He stole cell phones, an unknown amount of cash, and a pocketbook before fleeing the bar, police say.

Nothing was stolen from the bar.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30-years-of-age, 5'8", medium brown complexion, and may have a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm.
