Suspect sought for carjacking at Newark, Del. apartments

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Authorities are searching for a vehicle stolen during a carjacking at the Barrett Run Apartments in Newark, Delaware.

A 29-year-old man was removing items from his blue Ford Fusion early Monday morning on the 100 block of Barrett Lane.

Police say an armed man forced the victim into the car and ordered him to drive to various ATM's.

The owner was then forced to get out on Old Baltimore Pike, and the suspect took off with the vehicle.
