Suspect sought in Germantown burglary

GERMANTOWN -- Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect wanted for burglary in the city's Germantown section.

It happened early Sunday morning at Chelten Cleaners on the 300 block of West Chelten Avenue.

The burglar was captured on surveillance just after 4 a.m. breaking a side window.

Once inside, he stole $100 from the cash registers before escaping back through the broken window.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 30-40 years old with a stocky build and medium complexion. He was wearing a dark colored ski cap, dark jacket, faded blue jeans and white sneakers.

If you see this suspect do not approach him, contact 911 immediately.
