Suspect sought in TD Bank robbery in Torresdale

TORRESDALE (WPVI) -- A suspect is being sought in connection with a TD Bank robbery in Philadelphia's Torresdale section.

It happened just before 8 p.m. Thursday on the 3900 block of Woodhaven Road.

Police say a white man in his 40s gave a teller a note demanding money.

The man fled on foot eastbound on Woodhaven.

The suspect is described as 5 foot 9 inches, 160 pounds, with a thin build and light-colored eyes. He was seen wearing a black ski mask, black hoodie with white inside, black pants and gray gloves.

Police say about $800 was taken.
