Suspected package thief arrested in Delaware

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in New Castle County say a homeowner's crystal-clear surveillance footage helped them arrest a suspected thief.

Investigators say 40-year-old Raymond Montgomery stole packages from a front porch on Green Tree lane in Bear.

Police received a lot of tips once they released the surveillance video.

They say a call to Crime Stoppers eventually led them to Montgomery.

Arresting officers say they found drug paraphernalia as they took him into custody.

Montgomery has been charged and released.
