Texas deputies: Man drives off after fight with wife, dies in crash

HOUSTON (WPVI) -- Police say a fight between a husband and wife ended in tragedy after a man died in a head-on collision near Houston, Texas, early Saturday morning.

The accident happened around 3:45 a.m. in Harris County.

A tragic end to a reported fight between a man and wife in northwest Houston

Sheriff's deputies say a man and his wife were involved in an argument. At one point, the man drove off in his Ford F-150 pickup with his wife following him in a separate vehicle.

For some unknown reason, the man swerved across the center lane, hitting a concrete truck.

The man died at the scene. The driver of the concrete truck had minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
