Thieves grab $8,000 from woman's purse in Old City

OLD CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are trying to track down the thieves who stole more than $8,000 out of a woman's purse.

According to police, the suspects approached a woman near Reading Terminal Market last month after she'd made a withdrawal from an ATM.

One of the suspects asked to see her purse.

Later the victim realized $8,200 in cash was gone.

Anyone who recognizes the two women is asked to call Philadelphia police.
