Thieves steal package from porch of Rhawnhurst home

RHAWNHURST (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a pair of thieves who stole a package from the front porch of a home in the city's Rhawnhurst section.

The theft happened on December 1 on the 1900 block of Tustin Street.

Surveillance video shows a black vehicle driving by at 2:30 p.m. as the package was being delivered.

After the delivery truck pulls away, the vehicle returns and a man exits the passenger side.

He walks up to the home and steals the package off the front porch.

The pair then drive away in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 30-35 years old, 6'0" tall with brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, blue jeans and dark colored shoes.
