Trail extension opens

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Folks who love the outdoors will enjoy the new Pennypack Trail extension in Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County.

County commissioners and other officials gathered for the ribbon cutting today.

It's a 2.7 mile extension that will draw walkers, runners, bicyclists and others.

This is at the intersection of route 63 and Rerwood road off of Welsh road.
