SOUTH TOMS RIVER, N.J (WPVI) -- One person was killed and six firefighters were injured after a house fire in South Toms Rivers, New Jersey.
The fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. Monday on the unit block of Main Street.
Officials say one person was found dead in the basement of the home once the fire was extinguished. Six firefighters were transported to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.
The fire is under investigation.
