VIDEO: Bystanders rescue woman from submerged car

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma (WPVI) -- Bystanders turned into heroes after an SUV landed upside down in a flooded river in Oklahoma.

Three men smashed the windows, then tilted the vehicle. They pulled the driver to safety, with just moments to spare.

Emergency crews arrived and sent down a ladder.

While the woman was clearly shaken, she was able to walk away.

The water continued to rise, so rescuers had to leave the SUV behind.
