Video released of car theft suspect

QUEEN VILLAGE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have released new video of a car theft suspect.

Investigators say the victim parked a 2016 Mazda CX5 on the 100 block of Alter Street on Sunday, May 31st. The next morning the car was gone.

A surveillance camera captured the female suspect parallel parking the vehicle on the 300 block of Market Street on Wednesday, June 3rd.

The woman exited the car and went inside the Colonial Penn office.

The video shows she began to leave a few minutes later. But she stopped when she noticed police investigating the car.

She left Colonial Penn through a back door as police recovered the stolen vehicle.
