CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- An armed robber held up a clerk inside a Wawa in Claymont, Delaware Friday morning.

The Action cam was there as State Police put up crime scene tape at the store along the 300 block of Ridge Road.

They say the suspect stormed into the building around 9:30 a m. waving a gun.

Clyde Jenifur witnessed the crime.

"I see the guy behind the register with the gun pointed to the girl's head saying open the drawer, open the drawer. He had it up, I thought he was going to shoot one of them girls or shoot somebody in the store," he recalled.

Jenifur says he ran outside to get his cell phone and that's when the suspect side-swiped his truck during the getaway.

There's no word on how much the gunman got away with.

No one was hurt during the robbery and police have not yet made an arrest.
