Action News and the Red Cross team up.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- 6abc is helping raise money and awareness in the fight against Ebola.

Dr. Chernak answered questions Tuesday about Ebola and ways to contain the spread of the virus.

Action News and 6abc also hosted a phone bank to raise money in fight against the deadly disease.

Members of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross joined members of the local Liberian community and took donations from the public.

PPE kits, Gloves, Disposable surgical gowns, Disposable masks, Disposable caps, IV fluids - Normal Saline, Ringer Lactate, Dextrose in Water, Cannula, Alcohol. Chlorine 45gm, Booths, Heavy duty gloves, Hand sanitizers, Small mattress, Blankets, Yogot Mat, Beddings, etc

Also bags of rice, gallons of vegetable oil, high protein cans, bags & boxes of food., etc
