A woman and two children were hospitalized after an apartment fire in North Philadelphia.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman and two children were hospitalized after an apartment fire in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. in the 2700 block of Rhawn Street.

Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the second floor apartment.

A 36-year-old woman and two children, ages 2 and 7, suffered smoke inhalation. All three were taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.

The fire was brought under control within a half hour.

No word yet on a cause.
