Woman accused of stealing thousands from Del. booster club

SUSSEX COUNTY, Del. (WPVI) -- A Delaware woman is accused of stealing more than $27,000 from a local booster club.

Forty-two-year-old Stephanie Trimmer was the president of the Boys' High School Lacrosse Booster Club in the Cape Henlopen School District.

Detectives say she wrote checks out to herself for cash from the account until there was nothing left.

Trimmer was arrested Thursday and charged with felony theft.
