WOODBURY, N.J. -- A southern New Jersey woman has admitted she gave her husband's grandmother a deadly drink that contained antifreeze.

Gloucester County prosecutors say 46-year-old Anne Castagna pleaded guilty Monday to aggravated manslaughter in the August 2012 death of 88-year-old Mary Groatman. The Brooklawn woman entered her plea the day before jury selection was due to start in her murder trial.

Castagna now faces a 25-year state prison term when she's sentenced Feb. 5.

She admitted giving Groatman the drink when she visited her at a rehabilitation center. Groatman was found in a coma hours later and died after she was removed from life support.

Prosecutors have not disclosed a motive for Castagna's actions.
