Woman, firefighter hurt in South Philadelphia house fire

A firefighter is one of two people hospitalized after a house fire in South Philadelphia.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An investigation continues into a fire early Monday morning in South Philadelphia.

The blaze broke out at 12:45 a.m. in the 2300 block of Moore Street.

Firefighters arrived to find flames coming from the second floor.

A woman in the home was treated for smoke inhalation, while a firefighter suffered heat exhaustion.

Three people at the home have been forced to seek shelter elsewhere.
