Woman found living with decomposing remains of sister

A gruesome discovery was made in Massachusetts when a relative went to check on two elderly sisters.

Police say a woman in her 70s had been living with her dead sister's decomposing remains for the last year and a half.

A cousin found the dead relative under a kitchen table when she tried to help the two elderly women who were living with a leaking roof, no heat, or running water.

Neighbors say the home had been in despair for some time.

The home has since been condemned.

The district attorney of Massachusetts says there is no sign of foul play.

The surviving sister is now living in a hotel.
