Woman sought in credit card fraud in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (WPVI) -- Toms River police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a woman wanted in connection with credit card fraud.

Investigators say surveillance pictures show the woman using a stolen bank card.

More than $8,000 was withdrawn from four TD Bank branches in Mercer and Somerset counties.

Police say the card was stolen March 12 from a car parked outside Toms River Fitness on Route 37.

Purses were taken from two vehicles, police say.

Witnesses say four men were seen around one of the vehicles before the theft.
