Woman struck, killed on Route 309 in Bucks County

RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Bucks County authorities are investigating after a woman was struck and killed on Route 309 in Richland Township.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on Route 309 and Tollgate Road.

Police say 23-year-old Ashley Aquino was trying to cross the street from the Rite Aide to the Wawa, when she was hit.

Police said the car did stop after the incident.
