Young man on bike, shot and robbed in Germantown

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Police say a 19-year-old male was shot and robbed by two masked men in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Chelten Avenue near Knox Street.

According to police, they cornered the victim, shot him in the leg, and then stole more than two hundred dollars.

The victim is recovering in the hospital. The robbers got away.

Police are looking for any surveillance video of the suspects.
