Man wounded in daytime shooting in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was wounded in a daytime shooting in North Philadelphia.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of West Dauphin Street.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was shot in the buttocks.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
A suspect was taken into custody.
No word on the motive.
Police are investigating.
