1 dead, 1 injured in North Philadelphia shooting

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- One person is dead and another hospitalized after a shooting in North Philadelphia.

The shooting happened shortly after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday on the 2100 block of West Dauphin Street.

Police say a man believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s died from his injuries.

A second man was shot in the foot and was taken to the hospital.

Police have not released the name of deceased victim.
