Man gunned down on North Philadelphia street

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a man is hospitalized in critical condition after being gunned down on a street in North Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred before 10:00 p.m. at 19th Street and Lehigh Avenue.

The victim is believed to be in his 30s. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the left side of his body.

Medics rushed him to Temple University Hospital as a trauma alert patient.

Police have made no arrests or said a motive for the shooting.
