Suspect sought in Northern Liberties Subway restaurant robbery

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- The search is on for the armed robber who held up a Subway restaurant in Northern Liberties.

The man had a gun and covered his face with a red t-shirt or scarf inside the store on the 500 block of Spring Garden on Tuesday night.

He went behind the counter and ordered a worker to open the cash register.

Authorities say he ran off with about $300.
