STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have made two arrests in the murder of a 16-year-old boy in Strawberry Mansion.
Saleem West, a junior at Delaware Valley Charter High School, was killed Nov. 1 while riding his bicycle.
Rahiem Feaster and Tyree Johnson, both 17, are charged with murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and related offenses.
Police say the shooting followed a series of ongoing disputes between two neighborhood groups made up primarily of teenagers.
It happened on a Sunday afternoon in the 2200 block of West Sedgley Avenue.
Police say West was riding his bike with a 15-year-old friend when the pair got into an argument with four men in a Buick.
Police say two men got out of the vehicle and fired 17 shots.
West was hit once in the back and died at Temple University Hospital.
Police say Feaster and Johnson are being charged as adults.
