FOLCROFT, Pa. (WPVI) -- An officer in Delaware County is being hailed a hero after rescuing two people, including a small child, from a house fire.

Investigators in Folcroft say the fire broke out just after 6 p.m. Monday along the 600 block of Grant Road.

They tell Action News an officer rushed into the smoky house and pulled a toddler and her father out.

Fire crews say the fire started when a pot on the stove overheated.

No one was hurt.
