Camden County Police Bookmates program

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Officers from the Camden County Police Department took on a different role Wednesday.

They read to kindergartners at H.B. Wilson School as part of the department's Bookmates program.

The goal is for these kids to see the officers as guardians they can trust in their community, while experiencing the joy of getting lost in a good book.
