Diwali: Festival of Lights

PHILADELPHIA CITY HALL (WPVI) -- One of the most celebrated events on the Hindu calendar is taking place this week.

Diwali, or "the festival of lights", began Wednesday.

Thursday night, on the steps of Philadelphia city hall, Indian dance groups shared their art with passersby.

The five day festival is a celebration of good over evil.
