Organ donation saves girl's life
Luis and Evelyn Morales met Kyree Beachem and Kyree's family Wednesday. The Morales' daughter, Arianna, passed away recently, but her organs helped Kyree survive.

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- To know what organ donations means, just take a look at this beautiful Pennsylvania child's face and the smiles that surround her at her hospital bed.

That little girl's name is Kyree and she underwent a rare quadruple organ transplant in November. On Wednesday, Kyree's family had the chance to meet the parents whose tragedy and selflessness made their daughter's survival possible.

Luis and Evelyn Morales had recently lost their daughter, Arianna. And though grieving, they wanted to make sure their daughter's passing could help other children with life-threatening illnesses.

Arianna's organs were a match for Kyree, and it was more than just biological.

"At no point, when they did the organ and tissue matches, did they take into account their matching dimples, obsession with Frozen, Tinkerbell or guitars," according to a post on Kyree's Facebook page.

Not only did Arianna's organ donation give Kyree a chance to live, they also helped three other children in need.
