Officials say a man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Thorndale, Chester County.

THORNDALE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials say a man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Thorndale, Chester County.

It happened around 8:30 Saturday morning.

Authorities say the Keystone train was travelling between the Thorndale and Malvern station when the victim was hit.

The train was headed to Philadelphia from Harrisburg.

Service was shutdown during the investigation, but has since resumed.

There were no injuries to the passengers. They were later boarded onto another train to Philadelphia.

Investigators say suicide is not suspected.

Officials have not released the victim's identity.

Amtrak is investigating the incident.
