2 injured in Route 70 crash in Pemberton Twp.

PEMBERTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Two people were injured in a crash on Route 70 in Pemberton Township, New Jersey.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. Friday near Washington Boulevard.

Police say a car and a pickup truck collided.

Two people were transported to an area hospital. No word on their conditions.

Route 70 was closed for more than three hours as the scene was cleared.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
