Four people have been displaced after a fast-moving house fire in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.

PENNSAUKEN TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Four people have been displaced after a fast-moving house fire in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.



The blaze broke out around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 2200 block of 49th Street.



Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames in the basement and heavy smoke on the upper floor.



The four inside managed to get out safely before the crews got there.



Pennsauken Fire Chief Joseph Palumbo says it took 12 minutes to get the blaze under control.



"We had good water supply, companies were quick, and knocked on it pretty fast. No injuries to firefighters or civilians luckily," he said.



The Red Cross is helping those displaced.



So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.
