Police: Man dies after being shot, assaulted with metal chain in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway in Chester where a man died after being shot multiple times and assaulted with a metal chain.

Police say the shots were fired on Engle Street near 6th just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died a short time ago.

So far police have not released a possible motive or suspect in the case.
